For Classes - Lower Nursery to class- X

The school follows the Syllabus and curriculum prescribed by the NCERT and the CBSE, New Delhi and the pattern of examination according to the norms prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.   For the most part, NCERT and CBSE text and reference books are followed in conformity with the CBSE requirements.

The major subjects at the NURSERY stages are English, Mathematics, Rhymes, Drawing, Colouring, SUPW, Games and Physical exercises.

The subjects taught in classes III - X according to the 10 + 2 pattern of education from std – III onwards are:

1. English 2. Mathematics
3. General Science 4. Social science
5. Regional Language (Oriya) 6. Hindi
7. Sanskrit (from std – V onwards) 8. Health & Physical Education
9. Computer Education 10. Fine arts and Paintings
11. Yoga & Asan 12. Craft Education
13. Music and Dance 14. Embroidery & Tailoring
15. Brass band 16. Socially Useful Productive Work  ( SUPW )


Class promotions are determined strictly according to the mean performance of the children taking into account all the three Examinations. The mean pass mark in each subject is 40%.  Students passing in all the subjects shall be declared to have been promoted to the next higher classes on merit.


75% of attendance is a must for promotion to the next higher class. On medical grounds, attendance can be condoned by 10% and only by the President on production of medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner. For continuous absence of a child for 15 days or more, the name may be struck off without any notice. A student may be withdrawn from the school at any time if the authorities are convinced that such withdrawal is necessary in the larger interest of the institute.

The school session is from 1st April to 31st March.


The school provides Unit tests after completion of each unit. The results of the Unit tests are communicated to the parents through the test copies on each subject. The months of the Periodical Examinations are:
First Periodical: August ( First Monday)
Second Periodical: November ( First Monday)
Annual Examination: March ( First Monday)

The exact date of examination is notified 15 days prior to the commencement of the examination and the result is communicated to the concerned parents within three weeks from the date of examination through progress reports. In case parents want to see the examination answer papers, they may apply to the Director / Principal one week before. Only Parents concerned may be allowed to see papers.
