At Prabhujee English Medium School we have four Houses, such as Babajee Maharaj House, Lahiri Mahastsaya House, Yukteswarjee Maharaj House & Yogananda House.

House Captains and Vice House Captains

School House Captains and Vice House Captains demonstrate a high level of leadership as well as presenting a high level of team work, motivational and sporting ability. Captains exercise responsibility when representing the school in sporting teams acress the district, or at regional and state levels.

House Captains maintain a high level of commitment throughout the year to promote sport events, encourage and motivate teams as well as assist the PE Teacher and school staff in sports related matters.
The Vice House Captains encourage and motivate their House members. They assist the PE Teacher and school staff at all school sport events. Vice Captain lead, motivate and support their House in participation, competitive spirit and sportsmanship. House and Vice House captains also work as a sporting leadership team to promote participation in sport across the school.

The role of House Captain and House Vice-Captain are positions of responsibility within the School-wide community. It is important, therefore, to possess the following basic characteristics: ...A respectful conduct towards House members and the whole- School community. Be responsible, and a good role model.

9. All students at Prabhujee English Medium School belong to a House, they are awarded house points for good work in lessons and their home work. There are four Houses.
10. Children can earn house points for their house through good academic work. House points can be awarded by class teachers and specialist teachers for great work in class or with homework. Each week all of the individual house points are collated and the leading house announced – usually with a great excitement - to the whole school in assembly.
11. Throughout the school year, a number of internal competitions take place among the houses such as sports events, Music, Debate, Quiz, Rangoli etc. We have high expectations of our pupils in their work and for behaviour and it is important that we reward good work and behaviour and consistency apply school rules.
